 Emotion Versus Reason

Ever wondered when you buy real estate, real estate agents refer to your purchase as a "home," and when you sell, they refer to the property as a "house?"  There is a good reason for the difference.  When you buy a home, the purchase is a very emotional decision.  But when you sell your house, it is better to leave emotion behind.

Think of your house as a commodity that you want to sell.  You are ready to move on, and someone else needs to think of your house as a home.  If you are not ready to remove yourself from the emotional attachment, you can inadvertently create a situation where it takes longer to sell your house.
