Buying A Car Or
Making A Major Purchase?
Don't even
think about it!
For several reasons:
-
If you
finance your purchases, the credit bureau will have
several "hits" on your credit history. Even if
you decide not to purchase, the hit remains on your
record and lowers your credits score.
-
The
purchase you make will increase your debt-to-loan
ratio and could be the deciding factor in being
denied a mortgage.
-
Do not
make the mistake of applying for credit cards prior
to buying a home. They will also check your
credit history, and this leaves more hits, further
reducing your credit score.
